Process

How We Deliver

Five steps. Every one of them on us. We commit to a date in the proposal and we hit it.

The five steps

From intake to P.Eng-sealed delivery.

  1. 01

    Intake

Send us your building details — number of units, address, and any documents you already have. We respond within one business day with a fixed-price proposal.

  2. 02

    Site visit

A physical inspection of every electrical room, switchgear, transformer, and panel. Desktop-only reviews miss the constraints that matter.

  3. 03

    BC Hydro data pull

We request twelve months of consumption data from BC Hydro on your behalf. Real demand data beats code-based estimates every time.

  4. 04

    Analysis

Load calculations under Canadian Electrical Code rules 8-200 to 8-210, future-electrification scenarios, capacity-freeing recommendations, phased cost estimates.

  5. 05

    P.Eng-sealed delivery

Final report signed and sealed by our P.Eng (registered with Engineers and Geoscientists BC). Council presentation included.

What we own end-to-end

  • BC Hydro rebate applications — we prepare and submit on your behalf. No missed opportunities.
  • BC Hydro consumption-data requests — we request and gather 12 months of demand data on the strata's behalf.
  • Municipal drawing retrieval — we obtain electrical drawings and the strata plan directly from the municipality.
  • EVEMS evaluation — for EV Ready Plans, we assess Energy Management System options against existing capacity.
  • Council presentation — we present findings in plain language and walk through the funding plan or implementation phases.

What stays with the strata

The strata council's job is the easy part: tell us about the building, review the proposal, approve the engagement, and read the report when it's delivered. We do everything in between.

Strata managers juggle a lot. We take electrical planning off your list entirely.

Pricing

Fixed-price by proposal. Send us your building details and we respond within one business day with a fixed-price proposal. The price you accept is the price you pay. No hourly billing. No scope creep. No surprises.

Process FAQs

How long does the process take?

Six to ten weeks from intake to P.Eng-sealed delivery for most engagements. The variable is BC Hydro consumption-data turnaround. We commit to a date in the proposal and we hit it.

What do we (the strata) need to provide?

Building name, address, and unit count to start. Existing documents (electrical drawings, prior reports, BC Hydro statements) help us scope faster but are not required — we can retrieve everything we need ourselves.

Is there a council walkthrough?

Yes — included in every engagement. We present findings to council in plain language, answer questions, and walk through the funding plan or implementation phases as applicable.

How is pricing handled?

Fixed-price by proposal. We respond within one business day of receiving basic building info. No hourly billing, no scope creep — the price you accept is the price you pay.
